Jack K. Whitehead, Jr.

Jack K. Whitehead Jr. is the founder of the Whitehead Law firm. He has practiced law for twenty-five (25) years.

Mr. Whitehead has an "AV" rating under the Martindale-Hubbel attorney rating system, which is the highest possible rating. He is admitted for all courts in Louisiana, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Profession
Mr. Whitehead volunteers his time to the legal profession as a Member of the House of Delegates, Board of Governors and the Executive Committee.  He most recently served as LSBA Treasurer and continues to serve the profession on various committees.

Effective
Mr. Whitehead has twenty-five (25) years of extensive experience as a trial and business attorney and has tried cases in many of the states of the United States, having handled matters in Texas, Louisiana, and South Carolina. He has appeared in both federal and state courts. As a Certified Public Account, before law school, Mr. Whitehead traveled the globe for an international oil and gas exploration company as the company grew to a major oil and gas producer in Europe and Africa.

Mr. Whitehead is often called upon as a liaison to represent companies before local, state and federal government.

Jack practices in all Louisiana court: Eastern, Middle and Western U.S. District Courts of Louisiana; the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He is also a registered Louisiana Lobbyist.
